By accessing and using the Luminous Destinations website (luminous-destinations.com) and our pet care services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Services Description
Luminous Destinations provides professional pet care services including grooming, boarding, training, daycare, dog walking, and veterinary support. All services are subject to availability and our acceptance of your booking request.
Booking and Payment
Booking Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us via email. Submission of a booking request does not guarantee availability or acceptance.
Payment Terms
Payment is due as follows:
- Grooming services: Payment due at time of service
- Boarding: 50% deposit required to confirm booking, balance due on check-in
- Training packages: Full payment required before first session
- Daycare and walking: Payment due weekly in advance or at time of service
Pricing
All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
Cancellation Policy
Client Cancellations
- More than 48 hours notice: Full refund or rebooking at no charge
- 24-48 hours notice: 50% of service fee charged
- Less than 24 hours notice or no-show: Full service fee charged
Our Cancellations
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a confirmed booking, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer a full refund or alternative booking at your preference.
Pet Owner Responsibilities
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your pet, including health conditions, behavioural issues, and dietary requirements
- Ensure your pet is up to date with vaccinations (proof may be required)
- Inform us of any changes to your pet's health or behaviour
- Provide appropriate food if your pet has specific dietary needs
- Provide current emergency contact information
- Collect your pet at the agreed time
- Ensure your pet is free from contagious diseases or parasites
Late Collection
Pets not collected by closing time will be charged an additional fee of £15 per hour or part thereof. If we cannot reach you and your pet is not collected, boarding charges will apply.
Health and Safety
Vaccinations
All dogs must be vaccinated against distemper, parvovirus, and kennel cough. All cats must be vaccinated against feline parvovirus, calicivirus, and rhinotracheitis. Proof of vaccination may be requested.
Illness or Emergency
If your pet becomes ill or injured while in our care, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If we cannot reach you, we reserve the right to seek veterinary treatment at your expense. By using our services, you authorise us to make emergency medical decisions for your pet.
Aggressive Behaviour
We reserve the right to refuse service to any animal that displays aggressive behaviour towards staff, other animals, or itself. If aggressive behaviour occurs during a stay, we may contact you to collect your pet early, and a fee may apply.
Liability
Our Liability
While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of animals in our care, we cannot be held liable for:
- Pre-existing health conditions that worsen during their stay
- Injuries that occur despite reasonable supervision
- Stress-related behaviours or conditions
- Loss or damage to collars, leads, or other personal items
Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
Your Liability
You are responsible for any damage your pet causes to our property, staff, or other animals. You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your pet's behaviour.
